Here you can find the ranking of СS2 pro teams. This page presents CS2 teams world ranking that have participated in tournaments in one way or another. The table shows both the overall rating according to the HLTV ranking system and the winning percentage of each particular team. You can also see the kill-to-death ratio, the total amount of prize money earned and the map on which the particular line-up performed best.
Furthermore, here you can find the team's opponents in recent matches, with a note on whether they won or lost the game. You can filter them by country or use the search if you are looking for a specific one.

How Often is Information About Pro CS2 Teams Updated?
The information in our rankings is based on the HLTV ratings, which are updated every week on Monday. During the rating update, the system considers the squad's performance in the latest events and awards it with points. Thus, once a week, they are moved in the ranking depending on the success in the recent match and the prestige of the championship. For this reason, squads that participate in tournaments right now may be at the TOP 1 of the rankings ahead of stronger ones that have missed an event.
How is the Current Rating for Each Team Calculated?
In our list, we use the HLTV rating as one of the most authoritative online resources about cybersports in general and Counter-Strike in particular. СS2 pro teams’ ranks are determined by a complex system of calculation, which includes:
- The most recent results for two months.
- Statistics of performances at the last ten LAN events.
- Team lineup changes. A team must keep its core of three players to maintain points.
- The number of tournaments won in the previous year.
The maximum number of points pro СS2 teams can get in the ranking is 1,000. The results of online events and bookmakers' quotes also influence the ranking.
FAQ
This question is hard to answer because new teams are constantly arising, and old ones are disappearing. In addition, professional athletes can move from one squad to another, and sometimes they do not take part in several seasons to be reborn from the ashes later. In total, we can say that there are about 500 СS2 esports teams that constantly show themselves at tournaments. The total number of professional cyber athletes in СS2 is about 1.5 million.
The best team of the year is determined by its ranking and overall level of play, and most platforms, including HLTV, demonstrate the results at the end of the year at the conclusion of the last season. However, there are also ESL awards, which are presented every year during IEM Katowice in the Polish city of the same name. The awards are given in three categories, Player of the Year, Team of the Year, and Breakthrough of the Year. The ceremony is held in February-March.
There isn't some unified list of factors that define the best team in СS2, so they vary depending on the platforms. Still, most platforms with reliable СS2 teams ranking consider such criteria as tournaments’ and major events' performance, consistency during the season, map versatility, individual player performance, and some other factors.
