Best CS2 Parkour Maps

You have probably seen a video on YouTube or TikTok with some blogger showcasing their skillful surfing and talking over it. If so, then you already have an idea of what CS2 parkour is, which means it's time for you to try it out!

Parkour is a very popular activity in CS2, with lots of people enjoying maps where you get to learn and show off your bunny hop, surf, and movement skills. In any parkour challenge, the goal is to get from one end of a map to the other, jumping on various blocks and walls and overcoming obstacles. In a lot of cases, you will be teleported back to the last checkpoint if you fall off the edge, so it’s not that frustrating for newcomers.

These maps are fun to play because they give an incredible feeling of flow, especially if you're proficient enough to go from start to finish without falling.

In this article, we have collected Steam Workshop’s best parkour maps in CS2 for B-hop, KZ, and Surf. However, if you find those a bit difficult for your current level, you could first start with classic maps like Vertigo, Mirage or Inferno, where all you need is jumping — no fancy tricks and strategies. An advantage of training on those maps is that you can transfer the skills you accumulate to actual competitive games since they are official maps in ranked rotation. And yes, they are available in Steam Workshop, just like all other maps listed in this article.

Best Maps for B-hop

B-hopping can be a real game-changer for players who are good at it. The idea is to combine multiple jumps to gain additional boost. A skillful b-hopping technique can help you traverse the map quicker, surprise the enemy with unexpected attack angles, and even evade bullets. Check our other article if you want to learn how to b-hop in CS2.

AWP_BHOP_ROCKET

AWP_BHOP_ROCKET

This map is visually pleasant and provides a good overall experience for players of different skill levels. Including many speed boosts, it is great for training reactions and coordination with AWP, especially no-scope, making it one of the best b-hop maps in CS2. This map’s advantage is that it’s built like an arena, so you can play Deathmatch mode or Casual while sharpening your mobility and AWP skills. There aren’t many good maps that are built this way, so we definitely recommend you try it out.

Also, considering its trendy neon design, we believe it deserves to be called one of the coolest CS2 parkour maps out there.

BHOP_DUNEDASH

BHOP_DUNEDASH

Having vibrant textures and graphics, bhop_dunedash is probably the community's favorite b-hop map design-wise, and it is not bad at challenging your skills either! It’s got many parkour elements, such as constant ascents and descents, ladders, and a variety of spots for bunny hopping. It’s not the most beginner-friendly CS2 parkour map you can go for, but those who want to improve their performance will definitely like it. bhop_dunedash is also very large, with 32 spawns (16 for each team), so you probably won’t get bored while playing there! We certainly encourage you to play this unique map at least once. We promise, you won’t regret it!

BHOP_EMEVAELX3

BHOP_EMEVAELX3

Fans of darker, more atmospheric maps will certainly like this one. It’s a challenge designed  for intermediate players who already have a good understanding of b-hop, movement coordination, and such. Honestly, out of all the CS2 b-hop maps currently available, this one must be at least in the top 5. We’ve even found a good run through of this map online to prove this to you. However, you should remember that these players use multiple console commands specifically aimed at making parkour easier. Those make a huge difference on how hard it is to beat this map.

Best KZ Maps

In its essence, KZ is all about moving around the map and climbing upwards. As players get better at those dedicated maps, their agility and movement skills are significantly improved, granting them an advantage during regular matches.

KZ_HUB

KZ_HUB

While it’s not beginner-friendly by any measure, it is still an absolute classic and a fan-favorite. It presents a rather difficult challenge to newcomers, as it includes multiple spots that require good mouse-keyboard coordination combined with camera movement and timing. A notable disadvantage of this map is that it cannot be hosted online. But other than that, it’s one of the most solid CS2 parkour games, and once you master it, you may as well record a cool video like the one below!

KZ_GROTTO

KZ_GROTTO

kz_grotto has been consistently placed at the top of the community workshop list as one of the best CS2 KZ maps. Even more, it is a strong contender for the title of the best parkour movement map in CS2! Why so? For starters, this map requires a lot of mid-air strafing and timing, which makes it particularly difficult for beginners. However, once you become proficient at it, your movement and coordination will become impeccable, making any boost on regular maps a piece of cake. It has medium (Vanilla) and easy (Classic) difficulties, and it’s only 2–3 minutes long.

KZ_CHECKMATE

KZ_CHECKMATE

Despite having arguably the easiest challenges on this list, KZ_checkmate is still an amazing concept. This map, as you may have already guessed, is chess-themed — it’s a huge chess board located in some other dimension with tiles floating in the air. The community is getting real creative with these maps, huh?

While not the best parkour map in CS2, checkmate is a great starting point for beginners.

Best Maps for Surfing

At a basic level, surfing means utilizing ramps on custom maps to practice your strafing while maintaining a velocity high enough to glide through the whole area without falling. It is a very fun and exciting activity, and surfing maps can get very creative and challenging. If you are wondering, we also have an article on how to surf in CS2.

SURF_ASTRA

SURF_ASTRA

The prettiest, yet far from the easiest, this is certainly a veteran-graded map that will take days to master. However, with its purple neon lights and galaxy gates, it will be a rather satisfying journey. After its planned expansion, it may as well become the best map of this article. Nonetheless, even in its existing state, it would be a crime to exclude surf_astra from our best CS2 parkour maps selection. Here’s a very satisfying run for you to see what to expect from it.

SURF_EVO

SURF_EVO

This map looks and feels absolutely heavenly. Its amazing light design is a fantastic start for your surfing journey, as it doesn’t have any crazy spirals like the previously mentioned surf_astra. It provides you with a basic package of gliding and camera movement, so you can get comfortable with these elements before moving further. On top of that, it’s one of the newer maps, and gets regular updates, which guarantees a smooth experience for players practicing there.

Without a doubt, it is a great addition to your rotation of CS2 movement maps.

SURF_UTOPIA_NJV

SURF_UTOPIA_NJV

Another true classic! Surf_utopia has been around for ages, and now, with a new remastered CS2 look, it’s here to stay. This map is perfect for the beginner to intermediate players, and it has many online servers, so you won’t feel lonely playing there. It’s a linear type of challenge with 3 checkpoints, which has a Tier 1 difficulty. The original was actually submitted to Team Fortress 2, and it had a jail on the map. This version, titled njv (non-jail version), had this jail removed to make the map more suitable for modern skill surfing.
