How to Set Up a Hide-And-Seek Server?

To play the best CS2 hide-and-seek maps, you don’t need to wait until special content is introduced to the game or look for your favorite map in the list of servers. You can easily play this mode with your friends or complete strangers by creating your own server. Here is how.

Please note that as of May 2024, this method may not work correctly due to technical reasons.

Download the maps

Open your Steam account and find Counter Strike 2 in your library. On the right, find the Steam Workshop and look for the best maps for hide-and-seek in CS2 you want to download. After pressing “+,” Steam will immediately add the chosen maps to your game.

Run the game

So, how to play hide-and-seek in CS2? Start the game, click on “Play” and choose Workshop Maps. Then, select the map you like.

Before you start, remember to invite at least three friends. But don’t worry if you accidentally press the “Go” button, as they still can connect to your server after the match starts. Now you are ready to play!

How to Find a Hide-And-Seek Server?
