12 Best UMP-45 Skins in CS2
The UMP-45 may not be a meta choice right now, but it’s still a good weapon if you know when to go for it. For instance, this fine SMG will get the job done if things go awry after the pistol round. With a low cost of $1,200, decent damage at medium ranges, and a wide range of skins, this gun is probably far better than we give it credit for. So, let’s take a look at the 12 best UMP-45 skins in CS2.
Please note that prices are current as of August 2024 and may change over time!
12. Arctic Wolf
The first UMP-45 skin on our list is reminiscent of what we just said about the gun itself: nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done. The design here is a mix of camo and artsy aesthetics, trying to simultaneously check both ends of this spectrum. Lone wolves will also appreciate its motto: “Every round is a 1v5.” The skin was added to the game on February 14th, 2018, in the “Welcome to the Clutch” update. Despite its low cost. Arctic Wolf is actively used by the pros matys, honda, and dav1g.

11. Fade
The Fade skin family was added to the game in 2021 as part of the Operation Riptide update, and gained a cult-like following since then. Nowadays, you’ll likely see at least one member of this family in every top-list out there. So, it’s no surprise that this sunset-colored Fade is one of the best UMP-45 skins you can get. It is also the single most expensive item on our list, with even minimal-wear copies going for around $400. w0nderful, xfl0ud, CeRq, and v1c7oR have all used this gem in their games.

10. Exposure
Spooky, scary skeletons, ladies and gentlemen. All jokes aside, this skin is widely regarded as one of the best UMP-45 in CS2 for its unique design. The striking acid blue against a jet-black background perfectly captures the eerie feel of X-ray images, as if revealing the gun’s skeleton. Despite its popularity, the price is surprisingly reasonable. Originally introduced in the “China, are you ready?” update on September 14th, 2017, it continues to be a top seller seven years later.

9. Primal Saber
Here’s another community favorite! If you would ask us about our personal choice among the best CS2 UMP-45 skins we’ve seen, writing this article, we’d probably choose this one. Everything about it is perfect, from the color scheme to the eerie imagery. The skull of a saber-toothed cat, fangs stretching from the receiver to the magazine, neon turquoise claw marks, what else do you need? Considering the relatively low price, we sincerely believe it is a must-have.

8. Minotaur’s Labyrinth
Here’s another expensive item in our list of the UMP-45 best skins. On average, a copy of Minotaur’s Labyrinth will cost you about $100, but a low-wear one can easily cost twice as much. The skin is covered in a beautiful purple puzzle pattern. Try not to get distracted by it while playing! The skin was added in May 2015 as part of the Gods and Monsters collection. The only thing this work of art lacks is some pattern on the magazine.

7. Moonrise
It’s a well-known fact that the CS community loves neon and 80s aesthetics, and this skin is one of many designs that try to capture this vibe. It features a beautiful moon against a skyscraper background. On the Steam market, you can get one for an equivalent of the change you’ve got during your last visit to the grocery store, and the satisfaction you will get from it is incomparable.

6. Crime Scene
There’s been a brutal murder, a dark alley, the beeping lights of police cars, an old detective lights a cigarette and steps over a large yellow ribbon that says, “CRIME SCENE DO NOT CROSS.” That’s the feel that Crime Scene is trying to evoke. Despite a somewhat cartoonish outlook, this is a beautiful and popular skin. We’d even go as far as to say it’s probably the best UMP in CS2 if you’re into colorful designs. The only downside of Crime Scene is its relatively high price.

5. Day Lily
As the name suggests, the casing of this gun is covered in beautiful red daylilies in a green meadow. The rest of the weapon either remains unchanged from the stock skin or furbished in red. On average, the cost of this skin ranges between 90 and 100 dollars, which is hardly surprising considering how refined it makes you look. Day Lily saw the world on November 18th, 2019, in the “Operation Shattered Web” update.

4. Wild Child
And here is a skin for those who like fun and colors. If you look closely enough, you will see a lot of individual elements: a crown, a small sketch of UMP-45, funny inscriptions, and bullets. The skin is done in the popular graffiti style, but instead of going for a typical edgy look, Wild Child instead tries to reimagine the genre. Amazing style, and the price is also far lower that it could have been. The skin was added to the game in the relatively recent “Revolution Case Skins” update on February 9th, 2023.

3. Scaffold
What does it take to get on our list of best UMP skins in CS2? Turquoise neon, a beautiful pattern, and an optical illusion. Longitudinal and transverse facets create the impression of a 3D image, which immediately knocks the aesthetics index to the ceiling. This is one of the most beautiful skins in this list and for this weapon in general. The price of a Scaffold is also quite affordable, and you can own one without robbing the bank.

2. Blaze
Despite its limited color palette, this skin is far from minimalistic. The bright flames set against a black background create a striking visual that can perfectly reflect the fiery nature of its owner. Introduced on November 27th, 2013, in the “Out with the old, in with the new” update, this skin was spotted in the arsenals of the pros like w0nderful, honda, Techno4K, FaNg, and Fessor. Blaze is currently available in 10 different cases, so why not test your luck and try to unlock it yourself rather than purchasing it outright?

StatTrak: $22.06 (FN) – $30.65 (MW)
1. Delusion
Closing our list of UMP best skins is none other than Delusion from The Vanguard Collection. The skin was released all the way back in 2014, but players haven’t forgotten it and still appreciate the design to this day. The skin covers all parts of the weapon with a weird psychedelic pattern. Green circles on an acidic background and purple octopus tentacles are exactly what your opponents will hallucinate when their souls leave their mortal bodies. This skin is also quite popular among pro players. SHiPZ, sinnopsyy, supra, maNkz, Pimp, AcilioN, and many others are using it to great effect on the pro scene.
