TrueView Update in CS2

Valve keeps improving CS2, and on November 5th, the developers finally released the TrueView system. Check our short review to find out more about this new feature and other minor updates.
TrueView Feature
Counter-Strike 2 is known not only for its dynamic matches and exciting gameplay but also for the endless player arguments over replays. From time to time, when rewatching your matches, you may notice a situation where someone kills you even though their scope isn’t aimed at you. Of course, it can enrage you or even make you think that your opponent was using cheats.
However, the problem stems from the inaccuracy of demo replays, so Valve has finally begun addressing it with the introduction of TrueView demo playback. This feature carefully reconstructs the player’s experience by re-running client-side Damage Prediction. Although Valve claims this feature has drawbacks and that there will still be differences between TrueView and the player's original experience, it’s surely a significant step forward.

You can activate this feature by entering the cl_demo_predict 1 command in the console while watching the demo. Nonetheless, keep in mind that it may not work correctly with older match replays. Thus, it might be necessary to use the cl_demo_predict 2 command to force-enable this feature.
Gameplay Changes
Most of the gameplay improvements concern surfing. The developers have fixed issues with incorrect air acceleration and the misidentification of slow surfing up a ramp.
Additionally, Valve paid attention to the command that delays unscoping after firing sniper rifles. That is, with the help of the cl_sniper_delay_unscope 1 command, you can enable your scope to stay up for a couple of seconds, allowing you to clearly see where your shot landed before the scope goes down.
Miscellaneous
Lastly, the developers also fixed the console scroll bar, so now you can drag it with your mouse without any issues. Plus, they solved the bugs caused by the G3SG1 bolt.
