Professional CS is just like any other sport, and this includes an almost cult-like following that its most prominent figures enjoy. Dedicated fans follow their favorites on Instagram and X (ex-Twitter), study their training routines, and sometimes go as far as copying some elements of their lifestyles. For instance, have you ever wondered what cars do CS2 players drive? Well, we did and are ready to share the results with you. When you lead a life that includes regular travel, owning a car can easily become a necessity, and CS professionals have to move around the world quite a lot.
We were able to identify some of the CS2 pro players’ cars from available images on various social media, and here’s what we’ve found.
Engin ‘MAJ3R’ Küpeli | Volvo S60 — $40,300
An IGL of the Turkish team Eternal Fire, MAJ3R, is a family man who is able to combine a cozy lifestyle with frequent trips all over the world. In 2022, Engin placed a photo on his Instagram of him riding a car, which is pretty likely to be a Volvo S60. According to official reports, this sedan costs around 40k dollars, which is a fair price for a reliable vehicle to feel comfortable and safe traveling with two kids and a wife. Sure, this one isn’t among the most expensive cars owned by CS2 players, but it looks (and probably feels) great nonetheless.
Lukas ‘gla1ve’ Rossander | Mercedes GLC 300 — $40,700
Perhaps the most interesting case among CS2 pros and their cars is that of Lucas Rossander. In late 2019, gla1ve published a photo of a GLC 300 model, stating that he would own this car in six months. Perhaps it was part of the advertising campaign or cooperation between the German car manufacturer and Lucas, who was by far the best Counter-Strike IGL at that period. Since then, there have been no public car updates from gla1ve, but as his professional CS career comes to its conclusion, there is a chance we will soon see Lucas’ new automobile.
Tomáš ‘oskar’ Šťastný | BMW 530d Sport — $41,000
Another CS veteran, another beautiful car. In the middle of 2018, Czech AWPer Tomas Stastny made a birthday present for himself and bought a BMW 530d Sports edition, which cost him around 40k dollars. Although his best Counter-Strike years are behind him, oskar is a happy family man with a kid, and we’re honestly glad he gets to enjoy a nice car. Interestingly, his current stats in the tier-2.5 team SINNERS are still pretty decent — 1.15 in 2023/2024.
Denis ‘electroNic’ Sharipov | Mercedes-Benz E-Class — $54,000
One of the most stable CIS players and NaVi legend, Denis Sharipov, became a father relatively early in his life and needed a good vehicle to make his life a bit easier to manage. Being among the most renowned riflers in the game and with multiple trophies to his name, electroNic chose an automobile that combines comfort, safety, and status. You can never write off the Mercedes-Benz E-Class from the list of cool cars of CS2 players, although it’s also one of the cheapest assets in this article.
Gabriel ‘FalleN’ Toledo | Ford Mustang IV Convertible 2D — $55,000
A Brazilian CS:GO Godfather, Gabriel Toledo, is among the veterans who are still active in CS2. FalleN was never able to repeat his 2016 success, so he decided to relax and pay attention to other matters (like purchasing this prestige vehicle). In early 2018, he joined the club of CS2 players and their cars twice, buying a snow-white Mustang IV for himself and a red copy for his girlfriend. Now, FalleN looks close to ending his career and will have more time for car trips (but he has already returned from oblivion once, so who knows).
Finn ‘karrigan’ Andersen | Porsche 718 Cayman — $80,000
The name Finn Andersen has been known far and wide since CS 1.6 times, and it is no surprise that karrigan was able to save enough money during his career to buy a personal automobile. Finn takes a strong middle spot in our list of CS2 pro players' luxury cars, as his 10+ successful career allowed him to afford a Porsche 718 Cayman even six years ago. Since then, Finn expanded the trophy cabinet with an Antwerp Major 2022 and Intel Grand Slam, so his garage can probably expect a renewal. But even in 2024, 718th Cayman is an unbeatable opponent for 99% of vehicles on the road, making 100 km/h in just 5 seconds.
Peter ‘dupreeh’ Rasmussen | Audi RS5 Coupe — $91,000
One of the Danish CS legends, Peter Rasmussen, decided to buy his first car in the middle of 2018 and settled on the Audi RS5. A twin-turbocharged V-6 engine ensures the car goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, making it one of the fastest CS2 players cars on this list. This purchase surely added passion and energy to dupreeh’s career, helping Astralis win three Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Majors in a row. Maybe he needs one more car as another stimulus in the CS2 era?
Keith ‘NAF’ Markovic | Nissan GT-R — $130,000
Of course, a list of famous CS2 players’ cars is bound to include some rare brands alongside the more traditional Mercedeses or Porsches. A calm and level-headed Canadian rifler, Keith Markovic, suddenly decided to opt for the V6 Turbo 3.8 Liter racing option from Nissan — the GT-R. It was half a year after Team Liquid’s record-setting Intel Grand Slam S2 run of 2019, which pumped up the wallets of every player on the team by $200,000 (in addition to the money from four S-Tier events the team has already won).
Dan ‘apEX’ Madesclaire | Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S — $171,000
One of the best IGLs in the history of Counter-Strike, Dan Madesclaire, is a well-known car lover who prefers time-proven carmakers. In April 2023, he came out to the public with his new vehicle — Mercedes-AMG GT (probably 63 S version), stating that it’s time to prepare for the BLAST Paris 2023 Major. Having such a beauty behind his back must have done wonders to boost apEx’s confidence, as he was able to lead Vitality to an easy win in the event Still, it wouldn’t be the last car in his collection, as on Vitality’s official forum, Dan had stated that he is a big fan of the Porsche Turbos 911 or 992 — a popular choice for CS2 players’ cars.
Robin ‘ropz’ Kool | Porsche 911 Turbo S — $233,000
The start of 2024 was a golden time for the FaZe Clan, who were on the way to reaching the eights finals in a row. The secret weapon behind the team’s success was ropz, who were able to adapt to the CS2 shift exceptionally well. To give himself a little treat for his efforts, the Estonian player decided to make his car rides a bit spicier and bought a Porsche 911 Turbo S — a 640 horsepower car that makes zero-to-100 km/h in less than 3 seconds. Interestingly, shortly after the purchase, Robin and his teammates started to struggle with their matches, but it’s hard to believe such a tech beauty is the reason for that.
